Leadership and Service Programs
Leadership experiences are a wonderful way to meet new people and connect to the University, it also serves a higher purpose. Part of being a leader is being aware of the issues facing your community and working to create that positive change where there is a need. Because of this Leadership Programs has teamed up with Service Programs to promote a more civically engaged campus community. For more information on Service Programs at UNLV click here.

The Leading Edge Workshop is a two day leadership experience designed to teach both new and returning UNLV students the values and skills associated with exemplary leadership. This is a great starting point for students interested in beginning their leadership journey or enhancing specific skill areas. Following the Social Change Model of Leadership, the interactive format not only provides a platform to learn new skills, but also to engage with other student leaders.
The Seven Habits Workshop is a two day leadership experience held during the spring semester. If you are looking for the next step after the Leading Edge Series, or how to further develop your leadership skills then this is the program for you! The workshop runs on a Friday and Saturday during Spring Semester.Click here for more information!
Monthly Leadership Programs are an opportunity for students to learn about leadership through a format other than the traditional series. If you’d like to learn more about a specific leadership concept or skill or how to apply leadership skills after college, these programs should be right up your alley. Each month features a different theme. These programs are an excellent way to connect with community leaders and begin thinking about the practicalities of leadership differently!
